About

Hands in

We believe there are three elements critical to any project’s success: an experienced, empathetic and proactive project lead, a thoughtful approach to preconstruction and a supportive team culture. Our project managers will ask questions to understand what drives your project and its value to you, and to your organization and community. We start building a plan to ensure the project delivers on its intent.

The construction industry is facing challenges: materials are backordered, fuel prices continue to rise, shipping delays are common and there is a shortage of labour. These complexities highlight the need for the kind of problem solving we offer, custom, collaborative and transparent.

Blurred team effect

We have managed projects ranging from:
★ green energy such as wind, biomass and solar
★ institutional projects: hospitals, airport, schools, community centers, maintenance
garages, etc.
★ infrastructure projects: roads, water and wastewater treatment plants, flood
mitigation and infrastructure, etc.
★ remediation projects: hazardous material removal, contaminated soil
remediation, etc.
★ parks and playgrounds
★ residential projects: apartment buildings, supportive housing, homes, cabins, etc.

Each of our competent project managers boast 20 years of experience, having worked as designers, owners and contractors. It’s rare to find this experience in a single project manager, or even within one firm. Our work has taken us all over southern and northern Canada with significant time spent north of 60. We have worked with municipal, territorial, federal and First Nation governments, as well as private industry and not for profits.

"A collaborative approach is a crucial part of success. In design and construction, with so many different disciplines coming together from multiple organizations on one project, there are often conflicting interests and integration challenges. Consciously building trust between team members is essential for open communication and apt solutions. This is one of the ways we care for our clients and support our joint success."
